I have been working and training gundogs for 28 years...
along side that I have been a gamekeeper for 25 years. I have owned and trained a variety of breeds of gundogs from German Short Haired Pointers to Spaniels. I enjoy participating in field trials, especially English Springer Spaniels trials. I am currently Spaniel secretary to the Midland Counties Field Trial Society. I have also been involved in running trials and have hosted the Kennel Club open and novice field trials for many years.
All my dogs during their working life work through out the shooting season by way of picking up perhaps 2 or 3 days a week.
I have always got young dogs in training to come up through the ranks.
